I've decided to revert Hydroxide Studio back to a website for me to upload my own creations to. It is now only a very small site again and is somewhere people can come every so often to see if I've updated.
Why? I had plans to start a new website, called Browse!, which would be a place for community members of Liquid Magma to contribute to and share ideas for The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. Half way through getting all of that set up, I realised that my goals for Hydroxide Studio had changed from having a popular small website for my own creations, so being plans I couldn't fill; such as an enormous community with active members contributing.
It was later that day I wrote to the administrator of Liquid Magma (the former forums of Hydroxide Studio) and asked her if she'd mind if I closed that part of the site down. She understood the reasons behind my want to change the site back to the way it used to be and only 16 hours after I contacted her, I pulled the site down and put up the closed sign.
Besides my want to get my old idea of a website back, I am entering into the final two years of my schooling, which where I live is called the Victorian Certificate of Education (or VCE). The VCE allows me to enter a University Course when I graduate, and it is important I dedicate a lot of time to because the scores I get in each subject are rated against those of the rest of the state and that gives me the score I need for Universiry (which is known as an ATAR) and can be between 00.05 - 95.95. The higher the better.
So, sorry for those who were part of Liquid Magma, but I hope you are satisfied with the website I now have.
Thanks,
Hydroxide.
